Jon Burgerman

Loved his work, very modern and creative.

The Dependable Relationship Between Outlines and Creations of Art.

This is the Red Riding Hood story that I wrote for an in-class Sketching for Communication assignment:

This is the mind map of the same story- extended with creative thoughts and ideas:

We had to then select the ideas from the above mind map and create a new mind map- thus creating our own Red Riding Hood story:

Then we had to sketch our story's main character's outfit:

And finally we had to make a separate T-Rex mind map:

Later on tonight I will be uploading my 2 artist(Jon Burgerman)-inspired pieces for my art research assignment.

DMA101 At Home Practice

My professor assigned our class to draw a cat using the pen and object tool in the adobe illustrator software. At the end of the class he assigned us to practice the assignment. Instead of a cat, however, I drew a pig. Here it is, tell me what you think?

May 18th back to word-art sketch

My professor assigned my class to sketch a bunny ,trace it onto water color paper and paint it with water color.

Meet Kool -Aid the rabbit.
Isn't he a doll?

Kool-Aid had many names in the beginning, like dude, furball, UFO, energizer, IT, Ringo Star, Superman, Whacko and Stinky but I decided to stick with Kool-Aid, so I stay politically correct.
He could have also been colored differently like Champagne color or Silver or Gold.

But that's enough about the bunny. The last assignment was to choose a super power we'd want to have of our own list of 100 super powers that we thought of in 10 minutes. Then we had to answer questions about that super power(e.g. 1.Where? 2. How? 3. When? 4.Why?).

So out of many options like spit with love potion, flying, ability to walk through solid objects, controlling nature, being able to transform into an animal, ability to travel in time i'd choose the ability to transform into an animal just because I love animals and I connect to them better than I do with humans, in my opinion.
My super power story takes place in a forest, with sun rays peeping out between the trees almost forcing through with unbeatable light, even though it is dusk hour.

I was camping in a forest all by myself. I was sitting at the campfire when all of a sudden a wild cat came up to me and started talking to me. It told me that it was following me for the past few days and heard my conversation with other animals, even though they didn't answer back. It said that if I think I can use the transformation power wisely, he would give it to me. I accepted his offer and all I had to do is put one of his tear drops in my left eye. Now I can change myself to any animal I want at any point. Gotta go and raccoon a lady away from her trash cans. Cheers.

Introduction

Hey people,
My name is MJ and I am a Digital Media Arts students at Seneca College in Toronto.
The program includes graphic design, web design, video and audio editing as well as sketching.
I just started studying this week and I am really happy with my courses and the energy during class time.
I am hoping to get more into the fields of web design and audio editing.
So a little bit about me:
I am 19 years old. I was born in Russia and moved to Israel when I was 2 years old. I lived there for most of my life, and then my family and I moved to Canada and so far I have been living the most happy time of my whole life.
Apart from my digital media arts interests i also like biking, camping, pets, stumbling on cool websites, music, picnics, video games and PC games.
If I forgot anything I will just add it in another post.

What is better, being lost and happy in a dream or unhappy in reality?
